Guest Speakers:

• Julien Razafindranaly joined The Match Factory in 2012, where he ultimately worked as Senior Sales Manager. Since 2020, as Head of Sales at Films Boutique, he has handled the releases of 60 further movies, including "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" by Mohammad Rasoulof, "Green Border" by Agnieszka Holland, "The Blue Caftan" by Maryam Touzani, and "Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom" by Pawo Choyning Dorji.


• Wouter Jansen is an experienced distributor and CEO of Square Eyes. Some of the titles he has worked on include "A Night of Knowing Nothing" by Payal Kapadia (2021, Best Documentary at Cannes Film Festival), "Anhell69" by Theo Montoya (2022, Venice Critics’ Week, Grand Prix DokLeipzig), and "Afterwater" by Dane Komljen (2022, Berlinale Forum).


• Martin Horyna is a freelance script/rough-cut consultant, festival advisor and film critic. He has been working for the Karlovy Vary IFF since 2011, being a member of the selection committee until 2023. At KVIFF, he currently consults on Asian cinema and experimental works.


• Jim Kolmar is a veteran curator, consultant and writer, and has programmed international and feature films for South by Southwest Film & TV Festival since 2009. He also programs for Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival, and was a founding committee member at Festival Internacional de Cine Tulum (FICTU).


Format: Each session will be 45 minutes. Each guest will first provide a brief introduction about themselves and their experience navigating festivals and distribution (15-20 minutes). Following this, the floor will be open for attendees to ask questions.
